random discounts. they can happen any day, and time, and you get a ton of money off. would stick in the back of peoples minds. gotta wait!

as for the in game execution, the idea is that the shopkeeper is replaced with a woman, shoppas assistant, when hes off in the cafe. shes a little rogue and she gives you under the counter discounts on stuff

she only gives discounts on stuff bought with BITS and seasonal currency, so she only rewards gameplay. you can buy cosmetic items with bits directly alongside tix

she appears once every 3 months or so, so every month is a risk to whether you invest your money in the shop now or you wait for the discount lady to appear

also women sell. women very much sell. a big draw of the p5s shop i was looking at is that it prominently features a cute woman
