the healtbar is in, but its STATIC and BORING

  1. its bugged so its face doesnt change

  2. theres no cool animation when you get hit. id love to see like little stars come out the bar as it smoothly tweens the damage or some shit

we have such a cool design but it needs proper care to really bring out how cool it is!

IDEAS FOR HEALTHBAR TOUCHUPS

the star behind the healthbar should spin slowly and constantly, and do a big spin really fast after you get hit by something, much like how cannons spin currently

the heart should beat. beats fast when youre low or are going really fast (like overcharge)

when hit, at the end of the healthbar, stars should come out and fall below the screen

the heart should make "hurt faces" when being hit initially for a split second, and the face should jitter around for a split second after being hit

the heart should make "heal faces" when healing

when losing health, the area where you lost health should appear red for a split second and tween into non-existance. this is how most games handle healthbars and its a good way to signal how much is lost
